The tank was designed to facilitate the ASTM F2709-19 standard test method for determining a measured nameplate recovery rate of oil skimmer systems. A mixed water combination is used to mimic the Cook Inlet environment.

Test and Evaluate
At CISPRI you can test equipment using oil or other products in a safe and controlled environment. Testing of spill recovery equipment using the product of your choice makes it ideal for the evaluation of equipment performance, training, and future acquisition options.
Observation Room
Ability to oversee the test tank from above in a heated, well-lit area.
Personnel Decontamination Area
Designated area for personnel operating or training on the test tank.
Product Measure System
Analyze performance after collecting and measuring recovered oil.
Classroom and Field Training
CISPRI has a training room with capacity for up to 80 students with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment.
